Easter Bird Nests
 
 
Serves: 10-12 nests
Ingredients
  • ⅔ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch salt
  • 3 ½ cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • ½ cup chocolate hazelnut spread warmed slightly or melted chocolate
  • Mini easter eggs or jelly beans
Instructions
  1. Combine milk, egg white, vanilla and salt. Add in the coconut and stir until well blended.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and gather mixture into 10-12 balls. Place on parchment paper and lightly indent the middle using a spoon or your fingers, creating a nest.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Once cooled, pour a small amount of chocolate in the middle. Allow the chocolate to sit a few minutes before placing mini eggs or jelly beans on top.
