Apple cinnamon breakfast bars
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 large overripe banana, mashed
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup Blue Diamond unsweetened Almond milk
  • 1½ cup oats
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • ¾ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 small apple, thinly sliced.
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat an 8 inch baking pan with baking spray.
  2. Mix together the banana, brown sugar, applesauce, vanilla, egg and almond milk.
  3. Add the oats, flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt and stir to combine.
  4. Fold in the sliced apple
  5. Pour the batter in to the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes
