Gingerbread latte
 
 
Ingredients
For the syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp molasses
  • Brewed Espresso about a half cup. I used my keurig
  • ¾ cup Steamed milk. I boiled and hand blended
Instructions
  1. Combine the syrup ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Bring the mixture to a boil then turn down the heat to simmer for ten minutes.
  2. Brew the coffee and steam the milk.
To assemble the drink
  1. Place ¼ cup gingerbread syrup in a tall mug.
  2. Brew the coffee and pour into the mug with the syrup. Stir to combine.
  3. Pour the hot milk over top and stir.
