Chocolate caramel lava cookies
 
 
Ingredients
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1¾ cups flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup Hershey's CHIPITS
For the lava
  • ½ cup Hershey's CHIPITS, slightly melted
  • 6 unwrapped caramels
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
  2. Cream the butter and sugars. Add the vanilla and egg and mix until combined.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and stir until incorporated.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Press some cookie dough into the bottom and up the sides of the muffin pan.
  6. Add some slightly melted chocolate chips and a half caramel.
  7. Flatten out some dough and place on top of the caramel.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
  9. Cool slightly and serve warm.
