Peach Pie

Ingredients
  • 1 premade double pie crust.
  • 7 peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp. butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees
  2. Stir together the dry ingredients together and set aside.
  3. Peel and slice the peaches and place in a bowl with the lemon juice to stop them from browning.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the peaches and gently toss together.
  5. Line a 9 inch pie plate with pastry and place the peaches inside. Break apart the butter and scatter evenly over top of the peaches.
  6. Top with the remaining pastry and crimp to seal the edges.
  7. Score the pastry on top to allow steam to escape.
  8. Bake the pie at 450 for 10 minutes then reduce the heat to 350 and bake another 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown.
