Marinated Artichoke Heart, Salami and Provolone Sandwich

Ingredients
  • 2 triangle buns, or other bread
  • 4 slices Provolone
  • 12 thin sliced Salami
  • 6 marinated Artichoke hearts
  • Mayonnaise
  • Marinade liquid from Artichokes
  • Herbs - optional
Instructions
  1. Heat up a pan on medium heat.
  2. Slice the bread and spread mayonnaise on one side. Top with provolone, salami, artichoke hearts and herbs.
  3. Brush the outside of the sandwich with some of the reserved marinade liquid and place in the pan.
  4. Place a grill press or anything else heavy and heat proof over the sandwiches. Heat for a few minutes then flip and press again. Once the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown they're ready.
