Apple and Cheese Tart

  • 1 sheet pre-rolled puff pastry thawed
  • 2 oz Canadian Le GrĂ© des Champs cheese, sliced
  • 3 apples, peeled and sliced thin
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans
  • Powdered sugar for garnish.
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Place the puffed pastry on a baking sheet and top with the sliced cheese, reserving a few pieces for the top.
  3. Toss the apple slices with sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Place the apples over the puff pastry and scatter the remaining cheese and chopped pecans over top.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly and serve with powdered sugar.
