Copycat Panda Express Chow mein
 
 
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 package (16oz) refrigerated chow mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 stalks celery, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
Instructions
  1. In a bowl combine the soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, ginger and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Cook noodles in boiling water for 1 minute. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large wok or frying pan heat the oil and add the onions and celery. Cook for a few minutes until soft and add in the cabbage. Cook another minute.
  4. Add the noodles and pour in the soy mixture. Toss to combine.
Notes
I found the chow mein noodles in the salad cooler.
I also added a splash of water in with the soy mixture as the noodles had dried out a bit while sitting.
